Blue River in green fields

This field, lines a small stream which flows somewhere in Montana. One of my looser experiments in color application, I enjoyed the feel that the grasses took on, and the contrast with the potential of a late afternoon storm approaching. Wishing I were wandering among the grasses, I am drawn into the image and can hear the rustling of the brush below my feet.
